I know you are probably tired of hearing about our new Felicity. Now that we have her, I don't know what to do with her. I guess she was kind of an impulse buy, I bid at the last minute and really didn't think I would get her at the price I bid, given all the things she came with.

My oldest DD, wanted to get her until her younger sister got Marisol. Now she says she wants to pick out her own Today girl when we visit AGPC for the first time for her birthday in July. My younger DD just had her b-day in January. I don't usually give these type of gifts to my kids for nothing. Usually they just get presents for B-day, Christmas, good report card (small present), etc.

I just don't think I can keep poor Felcity in her box until Christmas.

Could she be for all of us to have?

What do you all think?

Yes, definately. I'm sure you will want to have her when Elizabeth is released. Or, since your girls are each getting a doll, Felicity could be YOUR doll!

Amy, you can have Felicity for all of you to enjoy! She can be the Family doll, where all of you can play with her and share her! You can start collecting doll like this. Many mothers here on the board share their dolls with their little girls. It is fun! And this way, you do not have multiple dolls around the house. Have fun with Lissie, I think you made the right decision to get her. You are going to love Lissie, do not leave her in the box til Xmas, let her enjoy the family and you enjoy her. I would say take her out now and enjoy her! If money is a factor, then make it known to your girls that if you take Felicity out now, Christmas will be small. It's a long time to wait and leave poor Lissie in her box until then...

I just did the same thing, but I wanted felicity for a LOOONG time. Never thought I'd get her for the price I paid.
I would definatly share her, but in a way that keeps her in good condition. And that way you can play with felicity and all the dolls could play together!! You can act out stories from her books with you daughters using their dolls as the other characters.
Have fun! I am am so ecited for you!

Amy Jo - My Easter Bunny said it's no problem to bring Felicity to your house. We probably have the same Bunny since Michigan and Wisconsin are so close together and bunnies can hop so quickly.

Amy, I say Felicity is yours! Let your daughters have their own dolls and you have your own too! Then at xmas, you can get Elizabeth too!

Laurie, I would LOVE for Felicity to be mine. I would let my DD's play with her anytime. I believe my husband would think that would be very frivolous of me.

Those of you Mom's with your own dolls, are your husbands supportive of you?
